03Advantages

Why basalt wool

Spun from molten basalt rock, the fibre keeps buildings warm, quiet and safe — for decades.

  • Class A1 non-combustible

Does not support combustion and releases no toxic gases. Maximum fire safety for residential and industrial buildings.

  • Efficient thermal insulation

Thermal conductivity ≤ 0.040 W/(m·K). Cuts heat loss by up to 40% — warm in winter, cool in summer.

  • Sound absorption

Open fibre structure absorbs noise and improves acoustic comfort in any space.

  • Water repellent

Hydrophobic performance ≥ 98%. Does not absorb moisture and keeps its properties for its full service life.

  • Chemical stability

Resistant to temperature swings and corrosion. Service life of more than 25 years.

  • Eco-friendly

No asbestos, no formaldehyde. Safe for people and the environment.

  • Easy installation

Easy to cut, fit and adapt to any project — fast installation with simple tools.
